La Récuperie
Participative Material libraryLa Récupérie is a project launched in 2023 by Charlotte Mermoud, an alumni of the Master TRANSform. It's a recycling center / free shop / material library by and for the students. La Récuperie is an (almost) self-managed project and its aim is to facilitate and promote recovery, reuse and recycling in order to minimise the input and output of things within the school.
It is located in the airlock next to the big lift on the ground floor of the building A. The airlock door is sometimes closed but never locked, so don't hesitate to have a look!
A weekly sorting is carried out by the new students in charge of the Récupérie, but the project only works if everyone respects its use. So please respect the following points:
- Take only what you need
- Think about what you want to put there, not everything can be reused, some items need to go in the trash
- Don't leave your rubbish there, there are bins right next to it
- Return raw materials to the corresponding technical workshops (wood -> atelier bois : self-service shelves or scrap bins, metal -> atelier metal, Plexiglass/foam/vinyl -> model and CNC atelier)
- Do your best to respect the locations of the items you are dropping off, as indicated on the shelf labels
- If you rummage through certain shelves (example : clothes, fabrics, textiles), please put the items back in order when you have finished
- Do not leave objects/furniture that are too big and, if necessary, place them along the wall next to the Récupérie, as to not obstruct the airlock passage for deliveries
Thanks !
Get stuff, give stuff, trash less, spread love ❤️
